All District policies, procedures and rules must be followed. Not following facility use policies, procedures and rules may result in temporary and up to full suspension of facility use permissions. Acceptance of an approved permit serves as an agreement to follow all guidance and policies. 

Any procedural updates, including fee and operational changes, will be communicated by late May 2024.

Note. Any proposed Facility Use Updates/changes are reviewed by District leadership annually and will be communicated to registered Facility Use contacts via email and posted on District website. If you would like to receive updates, please email FacilitiesUse@isd194.org

REMINDERS ON FACILITY USE: 

Adult supervision is REQUIRED for ALL facility use. Minors will be asked to leave the property if approved adult supervision is not present. Groups may lose access to permits if this is not strictly adhered to by all who are with an association. 

A pre-approved Facility Use Permit is required to be issued for ALL non-District sponsored use of LAS buildings and grounds and the permit must be obtained through the Facility Use office. 

Steps include:

• Review the Facility Use Calendar for space availability. 
• Complete a Facility Use Request Form 
• Submit all required documentation that the Facility Office reviews with groups.
• Any outstanding fees must be paid prior to the permit being approved.

A Certificate of Insurance (COI) is REQUIRED for all non-District sponsored use of LAS buildings and grounds. This COI can be submitted to FacilitiesUse@isd194.org. It must list ISD 194 as additional insured and have a minimum liability of $1.5 million per occurrence. If you are with a group that does not have insurance and operates under District sponsored during the school year, please email FacilitiesUse@isd194.org for assistance and options.

All outstanding invoices must be paid prior to the next permit being issued. This includes past due application fees, staff fees, etc…

Basic Steps to Requesting Space

1. Confirm availability online at this link
2. Complete Facility Use Request Form a minimum of 5-10 operating days prior to the date(s) being requested
3. Submit current Certificate of Insurance (see requirements below) Email the organization’s Certificate of Insurance to FacilitiesUse@isd194.org
4. Facility staff will review requests and options to permit the request if possible.
5. Facility staff will contact the requestor for set up needs-please be specific when placing a request.
6. Upon review and approval, receive a permit within 3-5 operating days
7. Outstanding fees must be paid in full prior to a new permit being processed.
8. Online payment options are available, please contact Rachel Sather, Facility Use Assistant with questions. 
9. Payments may be able to be placed in a dropbox outside of the address below (it is labeled Community Education).

11. An onsite walk-through may be scheduled to review with staff and group leader/s needs for the event.
